Saitek FSP (Flight Switch Panel Plugin
NOTE
If you have not bought the Flight Switch Panel hardware from Xplane Org,
please consider giving a donation to XPlane Org.
Nicolas was kind enough to supply the hardware free so that I could
create this plugin.
This plugin allows the FSP (Flight Switch Panel) to be used with
XPlane.
As there is no SDK or support from Saitek, this plugin works directly at
the USB HID level.
Full functionality of the FSP is available.
Saitek Plugin V1.3.0.1 (Both Windows and OSX Versions)
Certain aircraft like the Cirrus and the P180 Avanti would not work
properly when using the Ignition switch on the Flight Switch Panel.
This was because these aircraft use a special start operation that
affects Auto Ignite and Engine Cutout.
I have added code to mimic this operation so that these aircraft will
work with the Ignition switch on the Flight Switch Panel.
I have tested this and it works fine with the other aircraft that
already worked with the V1.20 version of the plugin.
However in order to retain the function of the V1.20 plugin I have added
an INI option that enables or disabled it.
The STSBSupport.ini file is included in the zip with the settings set at
the default values.
You do not need this file if you want to use the defaults as the plugin
will set these automatically.
NOTE
The INI file format has changed to a proper INI format.
So if you have been using the old STSBSupport.ini file you will need to
edit it to change to the new settings.
These are the settings.
[CONFIG]
LandingGearEnabled = 1
EngineStartSpecialEnabled = 1
NOTE
If there is no STSBSupport.ini file then the above defaults are
used.
So you only need an INI file if you want to disable the Landing Gear or
Engine Special Start settings.
Check the Version History file
below for information on this version and previous versions.

OSX (PPC/Intel) Version Notes
The plugin also sets the Aircraft panel switches to the positions on the
FSP.
So there is no need to do any switch flicking to sync the FSP with the
Aircraft panel
It also supports hot swapping.
So if you connect or disconnect the device when Xplane is running the
plugin will handle it.
Windows Version Notes
The plugin also sets the Aircraft panel switches to the positions on the
FSP.
But on windows you need to flick one switch in order to sync this.
Also no hot swapping support on windows at the moment.
None of these things are a high priority for me so please don't email me
about them.
